THE MILL — A CERTAIN MATTER: in the second line the word „młyn” is UNDERLINED, and the sentence reads „do niej należy też młyn Baranek z uroczyskiem i gruntami” (the mill Baranek, with its wasteland and lands, also belongs to it); the mill is named after the village and is assigned to the village, not to any separate holding, and it carries with it neither a hearth nor a separate possessor. Ls.89 does not divide hearths, so a breakdown into the breakdown of buildings cannot be made, and the the annotations dictionary from the brief does not know a tag „mill” — I do not invent one; I leave the mention here, in the village's the description of the village, and in the report, for the owner's decision. A comparison of the sources: O83 (card 1) says „młynek spustoszony” (a small mill laid waste), Ls.89 says that the mill Baranek belongs to the village — while the parenthetical remark (see below) reads like a denial that the mill exists. FIRST BRACKET [READING UNCERTAIN]: „(młyna na wszech niema)”. Certain are the first and the last word: „młyna” (the genitive required by „niema”) and „niema” (there is not), whose form is, letter for letter, the same as in the eighth line of the same card („lasu niema, tylko zarośla…”), where the sense raises no doubt. The middle word I cannot resolve: six characters, „w” + a looped character + a character with a downward extension of a shape identical to the „p” in „przywilejem” (in this hand the „z” descends the same way) + „e” + „c” + „h”; I read it, most cautiously, as „wszech” (all, altogether), but this is an uncertain reading, and I do not settle the sense of the whole parenthetical remark. SECOND BRACKET: „(posesorowie Antoni, Jan, Franciszek i Maciej Zielonkowie, i Maciej, Antoni i Mikołaj Borkowscy bracia/” — the bracket opened before „posesorowie”, closed with an oblique stroke after the last word. I read the last word as „bracia” (brothers) (the first letter a tall loop without a crossbar, like the „b” in „błotami”; then „r”, a loop, „c”, an „i” with a dot, a loop) [reading uncertain — also possibly „trecie”, that is „trzecie” (third)]. A note on the composition of the persons: Ls.89 names FOUR Zielonkas (Antoni, Jan, Franciszek, Maciej) — the same as T89 — without Dominik, who stands in T90; beside them three Borkowskis, who occur in none of the registers of this village. DUTIES AND LANDS ARE NOT HEARTHS: „we gruncie onego 2 łany” (in its land, 2 łans) is a measure of land, not a hearth, and does not enter the hearths figure.
