In favour of this reading: (1) the first letter has the same build as the capital „M” in „Mł.” in the lines Held. and Top. and in „Młynarzami” in the line T89 — a low introductory loop, after it two arcs reaching above the height of the middle letters; (2) after the „M” stands a tall stem finished at the top with a hook to the right, that is „ł”, whose own crossbar merges with the stroke of the deletion (in „Młynarzami” that crossbar is separate and perfectly visible); (3) next comes a letter with a long tail descending below the line of writing — „y”, of a shape identical with the „y” in the word „młyn” in the line T90 and in „Młynarzami” in the line T89; (4) at the end two small arcs, that is „n”; (5) the width of the word without the loop of the deletion is about 140 px, while the word „młyn” (in small letters) from the line T90 measures 105 px — the difference answers exactly to the exchange of a small „m” for a capital „M”. The word „Młyn” is confirmed in substance by the next two lines, where the name reads „Ruda Mł.”. It is — beside the struck-out „Młyn” in the line P. — the only place on the card where the mill entered the name of the place itself; in substance there answer to it the „młyn wodny” of T90, the „chłop młynarz” of O83 and the „młynarz” of Ls89. THE ABBREVIATION I DO NOT EXPAND in the text; that a mill is meant follows from the comparison with card, where the same siglum has the record in full: „Koty Młyn.”.

The writing of the name is identical with that in the line Held. — „Ruda Mł.” — and this is the difference from card, where Top. and Held. gave different forms („osada Kot” against „Koty Młyn”). Here both lines read the same to the character; checked by setting the two side by side under fourteenfold magnification: the same height of the „M”, the same full stop of abbreviation, the only difference being the slope of the crossbar of the „ł” (in Held. nearer the middle of the stem, in Top. at the very top).
