What the compiler noted beside the entry itself, and what the table above does not show:

  • T89 — The total agrees: 9 + 3 + 1 + 4 = 17 = „Razem 17 d.” (the figure underlined). The extract has no heading with the name of the village — only the siglum „T89 –”. The buildings are not itemised: neither manor houses, nor cottages, nor an inn, nor a brewery — only figures of hearths beside the holdings.
  • T₀89 — A list of possessors of holdings of 1789 — seventeen part-holdings, without hearths (in accordance with the character of the siglum T₀89). The word „część” is written out in full only at entries 1 and 17, at the rest it is replaced by a repetition mark; in the text of the extract I render this literally. THE WHOLE LIST IS COVERED BY THE ANNOTATION „nie wysiewa 10 korcy”: entries 1–16 are joined by a vertical brace running down the middle of the card, along which, in writing turned through 90°, „nie wysiewają 10 korcy” is added (read after the four strips had been joined and the frame turned round — the words read distinctly, letter by letter), while entry 17 has the same remark written out separately, horizontally and in the singular. No entry mentions propination, a pledge, or an inn or a brewery — although the T₀89 lists usually record such things. These two lines I do NOT count to T90: the black total („12”) was written down before them and closes without them, and their numbering (5, 6) is a continuation of the T90 numbering only by its position on the card. What is more important, both these part-holdings — one hearth of the Dębowskis and one hearth of the Zarzeckis — are exactly the 2 hearths which the T94 extract lacks for its own total of 12 (see the note at T94). WHAT CALLS FOR A DECISION BY THE OWNER: whether to assign both blue lines to T94 as its entries 4 and 5 (T94 then closes at 12 to the single hearth), or to leave them as an unassigned collating addition. The missing 2 hearths stand, as it seems, just ABOVE the heading of T94, in two lines written in the same blue ink as the whole of this extract: „5) cz. Adama, Ignacego i sukc. Wawrz. Dębowskich – 1 dym” and „6) cz. Zarzyckich —— 1 dym” (1 + 1 = 2, exactly as many as are missing). The numbering of these lines (5, 6) follows, however, the numbering of T90, not of T94, so I do not settle the assignment and do not draw them into the entries of the extract; in accordance with the rule I leave the total from the card empty, and the figure from the card in the total written on the card. The decision belongs to the owner of the work. Were both lines to be counted in, T94 would have five entries and would close at 12 to the single hearth, and the membership of the village in 1794 would be identical with that of T90 in 1790 — the Karwowskis 6, the Świerczowskis 2, the Kurowskis 2, the Zarzeckis 1, the Dębowskis 1, save that T94 merges the Zarzeckis into a single part-holding without forenames.
  • S87 — The 1787 census: „80 l. + 7 ż. razem 87 l.”, the figure „87” underlined. The components add up (80 + 7 = 87).
