Mości”; the surname checked under fourfold magnification, the letters certain — Podhorodyński. THE CARD GIVES NO FORENAME and I do not supply one. The surname is not attested hitherto in this neighbourhood — I report it. This record conflicts with T90, T89 and V48, which assign the village to the convent of the Dominicans; I DO NOT SMOOTH the discrepancy AWAY. THE NAME OF THE RIVER: „Staniawką” stands on the card TWICE (beside the village and beside the mill), both times in the same hand; examined under eightfold magnification — the „St-” and the ending „-ką” are certain, the middle of the word runs together into a single loop and „Staniówką” is possible as well: [reading uncertain]. THE LAST LINE: „należąca do Domanewnicy (?)” — the question mark in brackets was set there by the EDITOR OF THE CARD, it is his own uncertainty, and I transcribe it together with him. Under eightfold magnification the letters arrange themselves into „Domanewnicy”; I do not exclude „Domaszewnicy” (Domaszewnica is a village of the same neighbourhood, present in the card index, and card 2 of the same village mentions „Wolkę Domaszowską”), but in that word the ligature „sz” is distinct, while here it is not to be seen — for that reason I DO NOT SUBSTITUTE the known form and leave the literal reading: [reading uncertain]. The syntax of the last sentence is unclear on the card („pod Zofiborem wsią, należąca do…”) and I do not decide whether „należąca” refers to the village or to the mill. IN THE WHOLE CARD THERE ARE NO WORDS `karczma`, `browar` NOR `propinacja` — the only thing named is a mill with two wheels.
