IMPORTANT: this is the only place in the two Gozd cards where the forename STEFAN falls; all the remaining extracts (T89, T90, T94, T₀89) speak of Franciszek Domaszewski, „skarbnikowicz/skarbnikiewicz” of Łuków. There is no contradiction here: „skarbnikowicz” is the son of a treasurer, and so O83 records the father, the office-holder, while the registers of 1789–1794 record the son, by then a minor under the guardianship of Paweł Domaszewski. The formula „dymów wiejskich 2giej klasy” runs just as it does at Gozd, Kij, Annonin (card) and Lipniaki (card 1). The abbreviated forename „Franc.” I expand on the basis of the T94 and T₀89 of the same card, where the full „Franciszka” stands. Franciszek Domaszewski appears here as the hereditary owner („dziedz.”), not as a possessor; this line names no guardian — unlike the T90 on the Gozd card, where Paweł Domaszewski was added.

The wording confirms that Niedźwiadka is an appurtenance of the Gozd estate and not a separate estate complex (klucz); the Gozd card names the appurtenances by name: „folwark Gozd, wieś Niedźwiadka, folwark Kij”.

A BREWERY and an INN — both abbreviated („brow.”, „karcz.”), both read with certainty, without magnification: the words stand in a clean, wide line, in the same order as in the T89 of Domaszewnica („1 dwór, 1 browar, 1 karczma, 1 młyn…”), and the sum of the buildings agrees with the number of hearths given by the card, which confirms the reading. There is no mill here. The card does not set a „1” before the manor house, the brewery and the inn — it writes them without a numeral, one of each; in the breakdown of buildings they are recorded as 1. The surname on this card is through „-ew-”: „Domaszewskiego” (in the T90 of the same village „Domaszowskiego”). THE CROSS-REFERENCE NOTE „zob. pod Żolibór;”: it stands in a separate, indented line beneath the total, in the same hand; the middle word is cramped and I read it as „pod” [reading uncertain — it may also be „na” or „przy”], but the sense of the cross-reference is unambiguous: the holding of the Dominican monastery of Żolibór is to be looked for under the heading Żolibór. The direction of the cross-reference itself (to Żolibór, and NOT to Domaszewnica) is certain — the name „Żolibór” is legible and agrees with „konwentu Żoliborskiego” of T90 on card 1).

The surname on this card is written through „-ow-”: „Domaszowskiego”, just as in the T75 and T90 of neighbouring Domaszewnica; in T89 and T₀89 on card 2) the same person is written „Domaszewskiego”. I leave the form of the card. THE OFFICE: the card writes „stolnika Ziemi i podstarosty Łukowskiej”, drawing both offices together into a single adjective in the feminine gender („Łukowskiej” — from „ziemi łukowskiej”); T89 expands this correctly to „stolnika ziemi i podstarosty grodzkiego łukowskiego”. This is the same Paweł Domaszewski who in Domaszewnica holds 49 hearths — but these are TWO DIFFERENT villages and two different entries, and they must not be added together as one. The figure 20 is underlined twice.
