Katarzyna née Olszewska Borkowska, the deponent's grandmother, and owing to him after that grandmother – sufficient and complete satisfaction has been rendered to him through the hands of the noble (Nob.) Maciej Olszewski, his maternal cousin. On account of that satisfaction, and likewise for the suit and action brought before the present office by the late noble (Nob.) Stanisław Borkowski, the deponent's father, with a view to the dowry, and for the manifestations and decrees issued in that case – he gives a quittance, cancels the manifestations, relations and decrees, and renounces and abdicates those estates. The present personal deposition is added to the above.

**Revision of the reading („olim” instead of „et”).** The original translation read the word before the father's given name as „et” and made Jan the **son** of Walery. In this chancery hand the abbreviation **„ol.” (olim)** is written as an „o” with a stroke through the shaft and is deceptively like „et”; the grammatical case decides the matter — the genitive with „filio” means **„to the son [of someone]”**, not „and to the son”. The direction of the filiation is confirmed by entry 954 — **from the same day and concerning the same parties** („Jan Szaniawski, syn zm. Walerego”) — and by entry 419, in which Katarzyna Karwowska is the widow left by the late Walery Szaniawski. A sum with groszy (60 złp 24 gr) – a rarity in this register. The names of the roads and of the boundaries have been read with reservation; all the persons and the village of Olszewnica agree with the PTG tags for scans 57-002 and 57-003.
**A note on the given names:** in this entry the given names **Maciej** and **Mateusz** fall to persons of the same surname. The clerk had already begun the same act on scan 57-043 (f. 41v) and broke it off after a few lines – the truncated beginning was written down separately as entry 1323; here is the full version. The matter concerns the reckoning of the inheritance share after Maciej Aleksander Niewęgłowski among numerous brothers, sisters and relations by marriage; as umpire was chosen the magnificent **Jan de Borzec Borzechowski, tribune of Bracław**, and the meeting was appointed for 20 April 1744 (the Monday after Misericordia – reckoned) upon the ground of the disputed estates. The entry names outright the **Łuków castle court office of the starosta** (Officium Castrense Capitaneale Lucoviense). All the persons agree with the PTG tags for scans 57-043 and 57-044.
