And both parties give one another a mutual quittance for the penalty of double fourteen Polish marks, adjudged by that same decree of condescension for the acts of violence committed by the nobles (Nob.) Jan Sobiczowski, Wojciech Wielgórski, Paweł Izdebski, son of Marcin, and Jan Pióro called Kargol, and likewise for the court confinement – and this by reason of the sufficient satisfaction rendered to both parties in the above matters by the said Jan Sobiczowski, Wojciech Wielgórski, Paweł Izdebski and Jan Pióro; further, for the enforcement clause contained in that same decree as regards that satisfaction. The date verified: the Circumcision of Our Lord, 1 January 1744, fell on a Wednesday, and the morrow was Thursday 2 January 1744. The decree comes from the session of the courts of the office's suits of 4 February 1743 – the same from which quittances were given in the preceding volumes (entries 995, 1000, 1002, 1005, 1016). The sum is given in struck thalers (7 imperials = 56 złp at the rate of 8 złp). All the persons agree with the PTG tags for scan 57-002, including the mother's three marriages („Zofia Pieńkowska pv Olszewska sv Szaniawska tv Olszewska”).

The reckoning was carried out „od każdej osoby” (from each person) according to a register signed by the officer – a rare mention of an auxiliary register of the office. The date on which the decree was lodged with the records has been reckoned: 3 February 1744 (a Monday) – the feria agrees. notes and marginalia The entry passes from the left-hand page of scan 57-031 (f. 29v) to the right-hand one (f. 30r). A debt contracted in 1727 was paid off only after **seventeen years**, together with the interest; in the meantime a condemnation was had, and the debtor obtained an adjournment on account of sickness („dilatio infirmitatis”) – an element of procedure rarely noted. On that same day that same Kazimierz Izdebski mortgaged ground to Ludwik Krasuski for 230 złp (entry 1239), which shows whence he took the money for the payment. The date of the inscription cited has been reckoned: the Friday after Judica Sunday 1727 = 4 April 1727 (a Friday) – it agrees.
