notes and marginalia The entry begins on f. 88v and ends at the top of f. 89r – joined. The byname of Jakub Paszkowski („Kresek”) is an uncertain reading. The baulk on one side of the seven strips given up by Tchórzewski is written in the source in an abbreviated and illegible manner. The names „Kłusy Paszkowskie”, the Lichty boundary and the river Tyśmienica point to the neighbourhood of the village of Niewęgłosz (the parish of Tuchowicz/Radzyń), in agreement with the tag „Niewęgłosz Lichty”.

Moreover the same deponents yield up and cede to the said nobles (Nob.) Stanisław Rozwadowski and Jan Mościcki – out of the above sum of two hundred Polish złoty and the penalty, actually paid out and taken up by them – together with all the conditions of that same decree and process, giving them every and entire right: to take up that sum, to give a quittance for what is taken up, and to hold, to have and to answer for the estates charged with that sum until its payment, whensoever it shall follow.

A rare construction: a quittance joined with a cession of the rights under the decree in favour of those who paid (subrogation). notes and marginalia The reservation **„moneta argentea”** (in silver coin) – the first such in the 1744 volume; earlier there appeared „moneta aurea” (entries 1176 and 1233). The given name of Klembowski the clerk struck out together with the siglum of estate preceding it, and did not replace them with any other writing (scan 57-039), and therefore in the translation there is no designation of estate beside that surname; the PTG tag for scan 57-039 gives him as „? Klembowski”, so that for the indexer too he remained unknown – the gap has not been supplied. The name of the village has been read with uncertainty and is not in the tags.
