Ławecki

The nobles (Nob.) Antoni Ławecki on the one side, and Jakub Szaniawski on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that mutually and reciprocally they give a quittance to one another and to their successors for the suits and official actions brought and lodged with the present office on account of the mutual insult and the infliction of wounds; further, for the protestations, the relations, for all the decrees given together with their enforcement clauses and for the [court] confinement, as also for all and each of the mutual claims arising up to this day – and this by reason of the sufficient satisfaction rendered to one another. The protestations, the relations, all the decrees together with their enforcement clauses and all the mutual claims they cancel.

The noble (Nob.) Aleksander Sulej, son of the late noble (Nob.) Kazimierz, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Agnieszka Ławecka, daughter of the late noble (Nob.) Maciej Ławecki, his lawful wife, and to her successors he cedes the sums, namely: the first – of twenty Polish złoty, [due] from the noble (Nob.) Franciszek Gołaski; the second – of twelve Polish złoty, from the noble (Nob.) Józef Gołaski; the third – of twenty-four Polish złoty, from the noble (Nob.) Wojciech Sulej called Baranik; the fourth – of forty Polish złoty, from the noble (Nob.) Józef Grochowski; and the fifth – of forty-six Polish złoty, from the noble (Nob.) Stanisław Sulejski and his brothers – inscribed to him, the deponent, by way of mortgage before the present records upon certain estates lying in the hereditary estates of the villages of Suleje and Borzymy. He cedes them together with all the conditions of the mortgage inscriptions; he consents to intromission forthwith and promises warranty out of his own thing and person. And this under a penalty of the sums written out above and expressed in the original inscriptions, and the forum of the present office.

Having appeared in person before the present castle court records of Łuków, the nobles (Nob.) Tomasz and Antoni Ławecki, sons of the late noble (Nob.) Andrzej Ławecki called Augustyniak, brothers german to one another, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Andrzej Franciszek Jastrzębski, tribune of Bracław, and to his successors, they give and donate their paternal hereditary estates, that is five strips of arable, beginning at the boundary of the village of Krasusy Smolanka and running towards the Koziestany boundaries, between the baulks of the nobles (Nob.) Grodzicki [uncertain reading] on the one side and of the nobles (Nob.) Płudowski on the other, lying and situated in the hereditary estate of the village of Dziewule Stare, with everything. Intromission forthwith, of civil right; and this under the land-law penalties, before the forum of the present office.

The noble (Nob.) Marianna Celińska, daughter of the late noble (Nob.) Tomasz Celiński called Piotrowicz, and widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Piotr Celiński called Mysław, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Józef Celiński, son of the late noble (Nob.) Andrzej Celiński Mysław, her future husband, and to his successors the sums written out below – and namely the first of fifty Polish złoty, out of an original sum of one hundred Polish złoty, inscribed to her by the above-mentioned late noble (Nob.) Piotr Celiński, the husband of the woman deposing, before the present records on the Wednesday after Cantate Sunday in the Year of Our Lord 1733 by way of a simple debt, and falling to her; the second of twenty-five Polish złoty upon the noble (Nob.) Agnieszka née Ławecka Celińska, her mother, before those same records on the Tuesday before the feast of Saints Vitus and Modestus the Martyrs in the Year of Our Lord 1730; and the third, lastly, of twenty-nine Polish złoty upon the noble (Nob.) Aleksander Celiński, inscribed to the woman deposing before those same records on the Monday within the octave of the feast of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles in the Year of Our Lord 1738 – she cedes with every right and transfers all [the rights]. She consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, both as to the matter and as to her own person, and this under a penalty of the combined sum of one hundred and four Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.

The religious (Relig.) and very reverend (Adm. Rev.) Father Kazimierz of St Alexis, rector of the Łuków college [of the Congregation of the Pious Schools], in his own name and in the name of that whole college, for which he stands surety, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Paweł Celiński and to his successors for the sum of thirty Polish złoty – inscribed in the first place and primarily by the nobles (Nob.) Rozalia and Anna Celińska, daughters begotten of the noble (Nob.) Paweł Celiński called Drozd with Eufrozyna née Gołaska, unmarried maidens, with the assistance due to them of the noble (Nob.) Antoni Szczygielski [the reading of the given name uncertain], a kinsman of the late noble (Nob.) Tomasz Celiński, before the present records on the Friday, on the very day of the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord in the Year of Our Lord 1734, upon certain estates lying in the hereditary village of Celiny, by way of mortgage; and lastly inscribed by the noble (Nob.) Agnieszka née Ławecka Celińska to that same [college] – for the saying of holy masses for the soul of her husband – before those same records on the Saturday.

The noble (Nob.) Agnieszka Ławecka, widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Tomasz Celiński called Piotrowicz, on the one side, and the nobles (Nob.) Mateusz, the father, and Wojciech, the son, Nurzyński, present on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that mutually and reciprocally they give a quittance to one another and to their successors – and namely she, née Ławecka Celińska, to the nobles (Nob.) Nurzyński for the penalty of double fourteen Polish marks and for the „lucta” penalty, adjudged in favour of the noble (Nob.) Celińska by a decree of the present office, at the terms made known, that is in the courts of the office, by a second penalty, on the very day of the feast of St Hedwig [the elect] on 17 July; and the nobles (Nob.) Nurzyński to that same noble (Nob.) Celińska for the official action brought and begun by her against the Nurzyńskis, together with the protestations, the relations and all the claims arising up to this day – and this by reason of the satisfaction rendered to one another; and the protestations, the relations and the decrees they cancel.

The well-born (Gen.) Antoni Ławecki, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Andrzej, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives and donates, with everything, his hereditary estate, that is the industrious (Labor.) Paweł Wszołek, the father, and Paweł of that same name, the stepson, an ox-herd, minors, together with the arable, the fields, the meadows, the buildings and structures of whatever kind, with the wife, the children, the cattle and the swine and with all the household implements held and possessed by them, falling to him out of the inheritance share as against the well-born (Gen.) Tomasz Ławecki, his brother german, situated and lying in the hereditary village of Dziewule Stare, and lying in mortgage with the donee of this day. He consents to intromission forthwith and promises warranty, and this under the land-law damages and under the court of the present office.

The same gentleman gives a quittance to that same regent of the present records and to his successors for the remainder of the price, that is for one hundred and twenty-six Polish złoty, to complete the sum of four hundred and ten Polish złoty – raised by him, the deponent, by means of two obligatory inscriptions – having received actual and sufficient satisfaction from the hands of the party quitted of this day.

The same […] on the one side, and the noble (Nob.) Mateusz Koziestański on the other side, deposed and acknowledged that mutually and reciprocally they give a quittance to one another and to their successors – for whatsoever protestations, together with the inspection of wounds, made before the present records against one another, for the relations entered and for all and each of the claims which they had against one another up to this day — and especially the noble (Nob.) Koziestański [gives a quittance] to the nobles (Nob.) Tomasz Ławecki and Piotr Dziewulski, the accomplices entering into this matter — and this by reason of the settlement concluded; and the protestations and the relations they cancel.
