Having appeared in person before the present castle court records of Łuków, the religious (Relig.) fathers in Christ Kazimierz of St Alexius, rector, and Wincenty of St John, vice-rector of the Łuków College of the Pious Schools, in their own name and in the name of the whole of that college, for which they stand surety, on the one side; and the well-born (Gen.) Aleksander Celiński, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Jan Celiński called Łabędź, begotten of the late well-born (Gen.) Marianna Brodczanka, in his own name and in the name of the well-born (Gen.) Felicjan Celiński, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Kazimierz Celiński, his nephew, for whom he stands surety, on the other side — being of sound mind and body, deposed that a certain composition (komplanacja), concerning certain matters and conditions expressed in that composition, drawn up and written between themselves, the deponents, here in Łuków on the 8th day of May of the current year 1743, signed in their own hands and secured by a penalty of five thousand Polish złoty — they approve in everything, and they strengthen and confirm it, and this under a like penalty of five thousand Polish złoty, before the forum of the present office.

The same religious (Relig.) fathers in Christ, as above, being of sound mind and body, deposed that they give a quittance to the well-born (Gen.) Aleksander, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Jan called Łabędź, and Felicjan, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Kazimierz, his nephew, the Celińskis, and likewise to their successors — for the sum of five thousand Polish złoty, inscribed to them, the deponents, by the religious (Relig.) brother in Christ Stanisław of St Joseph, of the Pious Schools, in the world Stanisław Celiński called Brodka, before the present records on the Thursday, on the very day of the feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty-six, by way of mortgage upon certain estates lying in the hereditary estate of the village of Celiny — and this after the sufficient satisfaction received from the hands of the said well-born (Gen.) Aleksander Celiński, according to the tenor of the composition written between them and this day officially confirmed before the records; and from those estates they withdraw. Moreover, that which belongs to the well-born (Gen.) Aleksander Celiński by his right to the estate of Celiny, and likewise as the party paying off the composition — they make over and cede to him.

The religious (Relig.) and very reverend (Adm. Rev.) Father Kazimierz of St Alexis, rector of the Łuków college [of the Congregation of the Pious Schools], in his own name and in the name of that whole college, for which he stands surety, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Paweł Celiński and to his successors for the sum of thirty Polish złoty – inscribed in the first place and primarily by the nobles (Nob.) Rozalia and Anna Celińska, daughters begotten of the noble (Nob.) Paweł Celiński called Drozd with Eufrozyna née Gołaska, unmarried maidens, with the assistance due to them of the noble (Nob.) Antoni Szczygielski [the reading of the given name uncertain], a kinsman of the late noble (Nob.) Tomasz Celiński, before the present records on the Friday, on the very day of the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord in the Year of Our Lord 1734, upon certain estates lying in the hereditary village of Celiny, by way of mortgage; and lastly inscribed by the noble (Nob.) Agnieszka née Ławecka Celińska to that same [college] – for the saying of holy masses for the soul of her husband – before those same records on the Saturday.

The very reverend (Perillustr. et Adm. Rev.) Father Jakub Chromiński, surrogate judge of the consistory of Łuków, provost of Kaniów [the reading of the name of the provostship uncertain], being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the religious (Relig.) and very reverend (Adm. Rev.) Father Kazimierz of St Alexis, rector of the Łuków college of the Pious Schools, and to that whole Łuków college the sum of fifty-four Polish złoty together with a simple penalty of three Polish marks – due to him by force of a certain membrane (bond), which the well-born (Gen.) Ignacy Sarnecki, castle burgrave of Warsaw, was bound to pay, and which was adjudged by a decree of the present office, handed down in the suits between the parties and that same well-born (Gen.) Sarnecki on the Monday after the feast of the Assumption of the Most Glorious Virgin Mary in the Year of Our Lord 1742, and which the said well-born (Gen.) Sarnecki was enjoined to pay together with the simple penalty – he cedes with every right and transfers all [the rights], giving and granting leave to raise that same sum together with the penalty, to give a quittance for what is raised, to conduct the process in that matter in his stead, and as regards the sum remitted and the penalties adjudged – to raise them, to give a quittance and to pursue them further by the ordinary course of law.

The very reverend (Perillustr. et Adm. Rev.) Father Jakub Chromiński, surrogate judge of the consistory of Łuków, provost of Stanin, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the religious (Relig.) and very reverend (Adm. Rev.) Father Kazimierz of St Alexis, rector of the Łuków college, and to his successors, and likewise to the whole Łuków college of the Pious Schools, the sum of five hundred Polish złoty – inscribed to the deponent by the well-born (Gen.) Paweł Krasuski, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Wojciech Puskarzewicz, by way of a simple debt, upon all and each of his estates, before the present records on the Tuesday, on the very day of the feast of St Peter in Chains in the Year of Our Lord 1735, and secured to be paid at the term expressed in that same bond of debt – and likewise the process obtained and carried through by the present office in the suits over that same sum, together with all the conditions both of the bond of debt and of the process, he cedes and grants entirely and in full, giving and granting leave to raise that same sum, to give a quittance for what is raised, to pursue it further by course of law, to execute the decree of condescension between him and the well-born (Gen.) Paweł Krasuski, to apply to the office for the appointment of a term of condescension and to obtain judgment as regards that same sum – by the ordinary course of law.
