Having appeared in person before the present castle court records of Łuków, the noble (Nob.) Maciej Rzymowski, son of the noble (Nob.) Tomasz, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Krystyna née Domańska – by her first marriage wife of the late noble (Nob.) Jan Przygodzki, by her second of the late noble (Nob.) Jerzy Daniłowicz, and now by her third marriage his own wife – and to her successors, for a sum of one hundred and fifty Polish złoty, inscribed to him by her, while she was still in her widowed state, before the present records on the Monday before the feast of St Ursula, Virgin and Martyr, in the Year of Our Lord 1737, by way of a simple debt upon the half of all and each of her paternal and maternal estates; and that inscription he cancels.

Having appeared in person before the present castle court records of Łuków, the noble (Nob.) Krzysztof Zaleski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Stanisław, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Tomasz Rzymowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Marcin, and to Małgorzata, likewise née Rzymowska, husband and wife, as also to their successors – for a sum of twelve Polish złoty, inscribed to him by those same parties quitted before the present records on the Wednesday after the Rogation days in the Year of Our Lord 1741, by way of mortgage upon certain estates lying in the hereditary estate of the village of Domaniny Rzymy, and now taken up from the hands of the present parties quitted; and that inscription he cancels.

Having appeared in person before the present castle court records of Łuków, the noble (Nob.) Franciszek Rzymowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Jan Rzymowski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Zofia Rzymowska, his lawful wife, and to her successors, he is bound and obliged for the sum of fifty Polish złoty, by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt. That sum he inscribes and secures upon all and each of his paternal and maternal estates, undertaking that he will pay it on the first demand of that wife of his and lodge it with the present records, and this under a like penalty of fifty Polish złoty, assigning the forum of the present office for answering.

The same, mutually and reciprocally, upon all and each of their estates and upon their movable goods and those that move of themselves, existing in whatever shape and kind, inscribe and cede to one another until the last moments of their lives — in the following manner [as it is usually written].

The noble (Nob.) Wojciech Umiastowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Szymon, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Józef Ostojski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Andrzej, and to his successors his estates come by succession – that is eight strips of arable together with woodland, beginning at the Skrzyszewska boundary [uncertain reading] and running towards the Kownacka boundary, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Franciszek Rzymowski on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Piotr Domański on the other side, lying and situated in the hereditary village of Domaniny Burkaty – with every right he gives, donates and inscribes. He consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, and this under the land-law damages and under the jurisdiction of the present office.

The nobles (Nob.) Katarzyna née Rzymowska, widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Paweł Świderski, the mother, and Bartłomiej Świderski, the son, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Andrzej Ryszkowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Maciej, and to his successors, they are bound and obliged for the sum of one hundred Polish złoty, in Hungarian red złoty, by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; which sum they inscribe and secure upon all and each of their estates, and they undertake and bind themselves to pay that sum to their creditor at the feast of St Hedwig falling in the year 1744 and to lodge it with the present records, and this under a like penalty of one hundred Polish złoty and under the court of the present office.

The noble (Nob.) Krystyna née Domańska, by her first marriage the wife of the late noble (Nob.) Jan Przygocki, and after him by her second marriage the wife of the noble (Nob.) Maciej Rzymowski – by reason of the absence of her husband, who lies in bed sick – with the assistance of the nobles (Nob.) Andrzej Domański and likewise Jan Domański, and with their present consent to the acts described below, in her own name and in the name of the nobles (Nob.) Franciszek, Marianna and Joanna Przygocki, the son and the daughters born of the first bed, for whose ratification she stands surety, on the one side;

and the nobles (Nob.) Władysław Kisieliński and Kacper Skrzyszewski called Skorupka on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that they – for the composing and the final determination of the suit and action over the hastening of death (acceleratio fatorum) in the person of the late noble (Nob.) Jan Przygocki, husband of the noble (Nob.) Krystyna née Domańska of the first bed, brought against the nobles (Nob.) Skrzyszewski and Kisieliński before the Łuków castle court office – choose as supreme judge and umpire (superarbiter) the magnificent (Magn.) Paweł Stoiński, deputy cup-bearer of the Łuków land and vice-starosta of the Łuków castle court, appointing him for this day at Łuków the place of the meeting, together with the arbiters whom each of the parties is to set up on its own side; that suit, according to the terms issued and the protestations, he is to carry through in full and finally to judge, and what he shall hold to be right and just, to that the parties are bound to be obedient and by that to abide – and this under a penalty of two hundred Polish marks, for which they appoint the forum of the present office.

The noble (Nob.) Kacper Skrzyszewski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Tomasz [Skrzyszewski], and Zofia née Domańska, husband and wife, being of sound mind and body, deposed and acknowledged that to the noble (Nob.) Franciszek and to Marianna and Joanna, maidens, Przygodzki – the son and the daughters of the noble (Nob.) Jan Przygodzki, begotten in the first bed with the noble (Nob.) Krystyna née Domańska, now by her present marriage the wife of the noble (Nob.) Maciej Rzymowski – and to their successors they give in mortgage and mortgage their hereditary estate, that is:

four strips of arable, sown, beginning at the Kisielińskie boundaries [uncertain reading] and running towards the Zembry boundaries, between the baulks of the parties giving the mortgage on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Jan Domański on the other;

further six strips of arable of like length, between the baulks of the successors of the late well-born (Gen.) Antoni Domański on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Franciszek Rzymowski on the other, sown with winter corn;

further two strips of arable, vacant, beginning at the Przecznica and running towards the Kownaty boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Władysław Kisieliński on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Jan Domański on the other;

further four strips of arable, vacant, beginning at the Przecznica and running towards the green road, between those same baulks;

further four strips of arable, sown, beginning at the Przecznica, towards the Kownaty boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Marianna Domańska [uncertain reading] on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Władysław Kisieliński on the other;

further twelve strips of arable, vacant, beginning at the Kisielińskie boundaries, towards the place called Ług, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Władysław Kisieliński on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Piotr Domański on the other;

further three strips of arable, vacant, beginning at the Diegiotowska road [uncertain reading], towards the Kownaty boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Jan Domański on the one side and of the successors of the late well-born (Gen.) Antoni Domański called Kruk on the other –

situated and lying in the hereditary village of Domaniny Burkaty, with everything, for the sum of ninety-eight Polish złoty, from now until the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist falling in the present year, from year to year. They consented to intromission forthwith, governing themselves by the law of the present court, and this under a penalty of ninety-eight Polish złoty, for which they appoint the present court.

The noble (Nob.) Tomasz Rozwadowski called Dobros, the father, and Marianna Rozwadowska and Antonina, wife of the noble (Nob.) Antoni Izdebski, the daughters, with the assistance of their parent and of their husbands, being of sound mind and body, deposed and acknowledged that to those same [Przygodzki] and to their successors they give in mortgage and mortgage their estate – the father that subject to his rights, and the daughters their hereditary estate – that is:

two strips of arable, beginning at the Żytków boundaries and running towards the Kownaty boundaries, between the baulks of the parties giving the mortgage themselves on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Andrzej Domański called Czapla on the other;

further one strip of arable of like length, between the baulks as above on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Marcjan Domański [uncertain reading] on the other;

further one strip of arable with half of a second, beginning at the Gaj and running towards the Kownaty boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Jan Domański on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Krystyna née Domańska Rzymowska on the other;

situated and lying in the hereditary village of Domaniny Gąsiory, vacant, with everything, for the sum of ninety Polish złoty, from now for three years, until the feast of St Adalbert the Bishop falling in the year 1747, from one three-year term to another. They consented to intromission forthwith, governing themselves by the law of the present court, and this under a penalty of ninety Polish złoty. The present court.

The noble (Nob.) Władysław Kisieliński, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Franciszek Przygodzki, son of the late noble (Nob.) Jan [Przygodzki], and to his successors he gives in mortgage and mortgages his hereditary estate, that is twelve strips of arable, beginning at the Kisielińskie boundary and running towards the Kozłów boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Franciszek Rzymowski on the one side and of Kacper Skrzyszewski on the other, situated and lying in the hereditary village of Domaniny Burkaty, with everything, for the sum of twenty-one Polish złoty, from now until the feast of St Adalbert the Bishop falling in the present year, from year to year. He consented to intromission forthwith, governing himself by the law of the present court, and this under a penalty of twenty-one Polish złoty. The present court.

The nobles (Nob.) Krystyna née Domańska – by her first marriage the wife of the noble (Nob.) Jan Przygodzki, by her second and present marriage the wife of the noble (Nob.) Maciej Rzymowski, with the assistance of that same husband of hers – the mother, and Franciszek Przygodzki, the son begotten in the first bed, and the nobles (Nob.) Marianna and Joanna Przygodzka, maidens in the unmarried state, the daughters, and sisters to one another, for whose ratification they stand surety, on the one side; and Kacper and Zofia née Domańska Skrzyszewski, husband and wife – she with the assistance of that same husband of hers – further Władysław Kisieliński on the other side, deposed and acknowledged that mutually and the one to the other, and to their successors, they give a quittance, and namely:

the nobles (Nob.) Przygodzki to the said nobles (Nob.) Skrzyszewski and Kisieliński – for the suit and action, brought and lodged by an inscription of compromise, on account of the acts of violence, the forcible entry and the infliction of wounds upon the said late noble (Nob.) Jan Przygodzki and the hastening of his death, further for all the penalties and marks adjudged to them by a decree of the arbitration court handed down in this matter here, in the town of Łuków, and lodged with the records of the present office by way of oblation on the Wednesday before the feast of St Thomas the Apostle in the Year of Our Lord 1743, as also for the penalty of the tower enjoined by that same decree, and likewise for all the other protestations and for the inspection of wounds of the said [deceased];

and the nobles (Nob.) Skrzyszewski, husband and wife, and Kisieliński to the noble (Nob.) Rzymowska and to the Przygodzki children – for all the protestations made before the present records;

and moreover for all and each of the claims which they had against one another up to this day – by reason of the amicable settlement concluded between them and of the sufficient satisfaction rendered, both by virtue of the decree of the arbitration court and of the amicable settlement; and the enforcement clauses of the decree and whatsoever protestations they cancel.
