Zalewski

The noble (Nob.) Jakub Jaślikowski, son of the noble (Nob.) Kazimierz Jaślikowski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Mikołaj Kurowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Jan, and to his successors, he gives and donates his maternal hereditary estate, that is: 1) one strip of arable with half of a second in the field Wzdłużne, beginning at the Tworki boundary and running towards His Royal Majesty's Kąkolewnica boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Krzysztof Zalewski on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Stanisław Olszewski on the other; 2) one strip of arable with half of a second, in addition (in additamento), beginning at the field boundary (ściana) of the Wzdłużne fields and running towards the Lublin paved road, between the baulks of the present donee on the one side and of the successors of the noble (Nob.) Krzysztof Niezabitowski on the other – lying in the hereditary estate of the village of Jurki, with every right; he consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty. And this under the land-law penalties and the present forum.

The noble (Nob.) Kazimierz Zalewski [in the manuscript „Zabielski” was written first and then corrected], son of the late noble (Nob.) Andrzej Zaleski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Magdalena, widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Jan Nurzyński, and to her successors for all and each of the claims, arising from whatsoever source, held against her and arising up to this day – by reason of the settlement concluded and of the sufficient satisfaction rendered – and all the claims he cancels.

The woman deposing was unlettered (in the source: „Ignara litterarum”) – in place of a signature she made a cross. ✗

The nobles (Nob.) Wojciech Sulej and Katarzyna née Szaniawska – by her first marriage the wife of the late noble (Nob.) Kazimierz Zalewski, and now by her second marriage the wife of that same noble (Nob.) Sulej – lawful spouses of one another, on the one side, and Anna née Szaniawska, widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Piotr Jastrzębski, on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed (and each of the women with the assistance, as above) that mutually and reciprocally they give a quittance to one another and to their successors – and namely the nobles (Nob.) Sulej to the said noble (Nob.) Jastrzębska, the grandmother, and likewise to Józef, Piotr and Magdalena Szaniawski, the sons and the daughter of the late noble (Nob.) Jan Szaniawski, as also to Antoni Jastrzębski, begotten of the noble (Nob.) Józef Jastrzębski with the late noble (Nob.) Apolonia Jastrzębska, twice married, the grandchildren, and to their successors – for the suit and official action brought before the present office on account of the taking away of the lands handed over by an official delivery and of the entering of that same delivery, and likewise on account of the movables and livestock left after the late noble (Nob.) Magdalena Borkowska and concerning the deponents; as also for any decrees whatsoever handed down in that case, and in particular for the last decree of condescension, issued on the ground of the estate of the village of Dziewule on the Wednesday after Oculi Sunday of the present year 1743, and moreover for the marks for wounds and for the oath enjoined by that same decree and not performed – they give a quittance; and that same noble (Nob.) Jastrzębska, the widow, gives a quittance to the nobles (Nob.) Sulej, husband and wife, and to their successors for the marks for the wounds inflicted, adjudged by that same decree of condescension issued in the estate of Dziewule in the present year – and this by reason of the satisfaction shown to one another on both sides, and in particular by reason of the restitution of the value of the movables by the noble (Nob.) Jastrzębska.

The noble (Nob.) Stanisław, son of the late Krzysztof Olszewski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Bartłomiej, son of the late noble (Nob.) Andrzej Mościcki, and to his successors his hereditary estate, that is five strips of plot land together with a field at Lipnie [the name – uncertain reading], beginning at the village road and running towards the river called Krzna, between the baulks of [the given name illegible] and of the noble (Nob.) Jan Zalewski …
