Woliński

Having appeared in person before the present castle court records of Łuków, the nobles (Nob.) Józef Tomkowicz Wysokiński, son of the late noble (Nob.) Wojciech, begotten with the late noble (Nob.) Łucja Grochowska, on the one side, and Teresa Wysokińska, daughter of the late noble (Nob.) Józef called Misiewicz, begotten with the noble (Nob.) Regina Wolińska, on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that mutually and reciprocally they inscribe to one another all and each of their estates until the last moments of their lives – and this in such manner as it is written in the customary form.

The noble (Nob.) Tomasz Krasuski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Stanisław Wierzejski, son of the noble (Nob.) Kazimierz, and to his successors for the sum of twenty-six Polish złoty and twenty groszy – out of the original sum of eighty Polish złoty, inscribed in the first place by the noble (Nob.) Anna Skrzyszewska, wife by her second marriage of the noble (Nob.) Marcin Krasuski, to the noble (Nob.) Tomasz Woliński by way of obligation upon estates lying in the village of Krasusy Gołowierzchy before the present records on the Wednesday after Jubilate Sunday in the Year of Our Lord 1730 [3 May 1730]; afterwards ceded by that same noble (Nob.) Tomasz Woliński to the noble (Nob.) Jakub Krasuski before the present records on the Wednesday after the feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Year of Our Lord 1736 [4 July 1736]; and then likewise ceded by that same noble (Nob.) Jakub Krasuski to the deponent himself before those same records on the Monday after the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist in the Year of Our Lord 1742 [25 June 1742] –

and now raised from the hands of the present party quitted as the holder of those estates by acquired right – he gives a quittance, and that inscription, in so far as it serves for the above-named sum, he cancels by the present act.

[Heading of the session:] On the Monday within the octave of the feast of the Most Holy Body of Christ Our Lord, of that same year 1743 [17 June 1743].

The well-born (Gen.) Magdalena Wolińska, daughter begotten of the late well-born (Gen.) Tomasz Woliński and of the late well-born (Gen.) Justyna née Kuczyńska, widow left by the late well-born (Gen.) Jan Dmowski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Stefan Gołaski, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Maciej Gołaski, her appointed (future) husband, and to his successors she is bound and obliged for the sum of two thousand Polish złoty by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt;

which sum she inscribes and secures upon all and each of her estates and upon whatsoever sums of money belonging to her, the deponent herself, wherever they may be found; and she undertakes and binds herself to pay that sum on the first demand of that same future husband of hers and to lodge it with the Liw castle court records, and this under a like penalty of two thousand Polish złoty, indicating the Liw castle court as the forum for answering.

The woman deposing was unlettered (in the source: „Ignara litterarum”) – in place of a signature she made a cross. ✗

The well-born (Gen.) Andrzej Radzikowski, begotten of the well-born (Gen.) Gabriel Radzikowski with the well-born (Gen.) Barbara Krasuska, on the one side, and Magdalena Wolińska, the daughter begotten of the late well-born (Gen.) Tomasz Woliński with the late well-born (Gen.) Justyna Kuczyńska, his wife, on the other side, lawful spouses of one another, being of sound mind and body, deposed that they inscribe and grant to one another, mutually and reciprocally – upon all and each of their paternal and maternal estates, those now possessed, those which they shall possess, and those come by inheritance, and likewise upon any sums of money whatsoever settled wheresoever and upon their movables and livestock, existing in various forms and kinds – a life estate until the last term of their lives, and this in the manner following [the accustomed formula].
