The magnificent (Magn.) Franciszek Sienicki, sword-bearer of the Bielsk land, comrade of His Royal Majesty's hussar banner, in his own name and in the name of the very reverend (Adm. Rev.) Father Aleksander, canon of Brześć, and Sebastian, sword-bearer of Mielnik, Sienicki, his brothers german, for whose ratification he stands surety, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Beydo Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, and to his successors for the pledges returned to him – a gilt object and a ring [uncertain reading] – pledged by the late magnificent (Magn.) Piotr Sienicki, pantler of Sanok, the deponent's father, with the late magnificent (Magn.) Jan Rzewuski, hunter of Podlasie, the father of the party now quitted, for the sum of one thousand Polish złoty; and likewise for the sum of six hundred Polish złoty – in completion of the sum of four hundred Polish złoty for a horse, secured for payment by a hand-written bond given by the party now quitted to the said late magnificent (Magn.) Piotr Sienicki, pantler of Sanok, and hitherto unpaid, and now set off and reckoned by the deponent. For that sum of six hundred Polish złoty he gives a quittance; they reserve to themselves no mutual claims on account of those pledges or of the sum of one thousand Polish złoty – on the contrary, they cancel them.

The magnificent (Magn.) Józef Rzewuski, sword-bearer of the Mielnik land, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Stefan Rzewuski, cup-bearer of Drohiczyn, grandson of the former well-born (Gen.) Feliks Beydo Rzewuski, clerk of the Mielnik castle court, and nephew (sister's son) and natural successor of the late well-born (Gen.) Helena née Rzewuska Zaliwska, wife of the well-born (Gen.) Wojciech Zaliwski, who departed this world without issue, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Antoni Rzewuski, treasurer of Mścisław, and to his successors he cedes and yields the sum of eight thousand Polish złoty. That sum was contracted by the late well-born (Gen.) Wojciech de Wołyńce Zaliwski and inscribed to the well-born (Gen.) Helena Rzewuska, the deponent's aunt, daughter of the late well-born (Gen.) Feliks Beydo Rzewuski, clerk of the Mielnik castle court, by way of a simple debt upon his estates, before the Drohiczyn castle court records on the Monday before the feast of St Margaret Virgin and Martyr in the Year of Our Lord 167[0] [the reading of the year uncertain]; and after the death without issue of the said well-born (Gen.) Helena née Rzewuska Zaliwska it fell to the deponent by divine right and natural succession. The cession embraces all the conditions, points, clauses, articles, bonds and securities of that original inscription, as also of the supplementary inscription, officially confirmed by right of cession in his favour by the well-born (Gen.) Franciszek Łaski before the present records on the Monday after Misericordia Sunday in the Year of Our Lord 1741. Having received sufficient satisfaction from the hands of the present cessionary, he cedes every right; giving power to receive that sum, to give a quittance for what is received and to pursue it in the ordinary course of law in every court and office.

The noble (Nob.) Ewa née Wyczółkowska, widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Hiacynt Sobiczewski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Józef Rzewuski, sword-bearer of the Mielnik land, and to his successors, she cedes and makes over all the marks and penalties whatsoever, amounting together to sixty-five Polish marks, adjudged by decrees – and in particular by the last of them, given in the terms for complaints (the courts of suits) of the present office on the Monday after the feast of the Assumption of the Most Glorious Virgin Mary of the past year 1742, between her on the one side and the nobles (Nob.) Sobiczowski on the other – and this by reason of the sufficient satisfaction rendered to her through the hands of the magnificent (Magn.) cessionary. She cedes together with the whole and entire right of hers serving in the above and with the condemnation obtained at the peremptory term; giving power to pursue the said marks, to press for the execution of the transgression of the last decree, to receive what is recovered, to give a quittance for the receipt and to proceed further by the ordinary course of law.

The magnificent (Magn.) Józef Rzewuski, sword-bearer of the Mielnik land, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Ewa née Wyczółkowska, widow left by the late noble (Nob.) Hiacynt Sobiczowski, and to her successors for the sum of fifty-four Polish złoty, inscribed to him by that same party quitted by way of mortgage upon certain estates lying in the hereditary estate of the village of Sobicze, before the present records on the Thursday after the feast of St Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist in the Year of Our Lord 1741 – and this by reason of the actual payment of that sum; and that inscription he cancels.

The noble (Nob.) Mateusz Sobiczowski called Święszek, son of the late noble (Nob.) Maciej, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Józef Rzewuski, sword-bearer of the Mielnik land, and to his successors, he gives and donates his hereditary estate, that is a homestead of thirteen strips, beginning at the Zbuczyn road – otherwise the Zapłotna road – and running towards the road that runs through the village, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Piotr Sobiczowski on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Maciej Sobiczowski called Abramczyk on the other, lying in the hereditary estate of the village of Sobicze, with every right; he consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty. And this under the land-law penalties and the present forum.

Heading: „The fourth protocol of inscriptions”. Date: the Saturday after Reminiscere Sunday in Lent in the Year of Our Lord 1743.

The nobles (Nob.) Mateusz Sobiczowski called Święszek and Marianna née Grochowska, husband and wife – the wife with the assistance of her husband – on the one side, and the magnificent (Magn.) Józef Rzewuski, sword-bearer of the Mielnik land, on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that a certain mortgage contract, concerning certain conditions expressed in it, concluded between them on this day, that is on 16 March of the current year 1743, written down and drawn up, signed with their own hands, secured by a penalty of one hundred and thirty-eight Polish złoty – they confirm in everything (they strengthen and confirm it). And this under a penalty of one hundred and thirty-eight Polish złoty and the present forum.

The noble (Nob.) Ewa née Wyczółkowska Sobiczowska, a widow, being of sound mind and body, deposed that a certain hand-written bond, serving to the benefit and the person of the magnificent (Magn.) Józef Rzewuski, sword-bearer of Mielnik, written down and issued by herself on 16 March of the current year 1743, secured by a penalty of sixty-five Polish marks – she confirms in everything (she strengthens and confirms it). And this under a penalty of sixty-five Polish marks and the present forum.

The well-born (Gen.) Rozalia Grotowska, [the widow left] by the late well-born (Gen.) Michał Grotowski, deputy cup-bearer of Livonia, having entered upon a second marriage with the well-born (Gen.) Piotr Antoni, of two given names, Ogrodziński, cavalry captain of the armies [of His Royal Majesty and of the Commonwealth], his wife, with the assistance of that same husband of hers, being of sound mind and body, deposed that she – in her own name and in the name of the well-born (Gen.) Józef, the son, and of Justyna, Elżbieta and Marianna, the daughters, the Grotowskis born in the first bed, for whose ratification she stands surety – gives a quittance to the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, and to his successors for the sum of twelve thousand Polish złoty, out of the original sum of eighteen thousand Polish złoty – inscribed and secured for payment by a certain contract between them, hers, in her own name and in the name of her orphans, on the one side, and that same magnificent (Magn.) party quitted, at that time deputy cup-bearer of Łuków, on the other side, drawn up and written down in the estate of Olszewnica [the reading of the name uncertain] on the sixth day of July in the Year of Our Lord 1739, subscribed with their hands, and confirmed officially before the present records on the Tuesday, on the very day of the feast of St Giles the Abbot of that same year; that sum falling to her by her right of life estate, and likewise the interest accrued upon it – and this by reason of the actual payment of the said principal sum of twelve thousand Polish złoty together with the interest, falling due on this day, made to her by the said magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land; and that contract, together with its official confirmation (roboratio), she cancels in its entirety.

The magnificent (Magn.) Józef count Ostroróg, deputy cup-bearer of the Czernihów land, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Józef, the son, and to Justyna, Elżbieta and Marianna, the daughters, the Grotowskis – born in the first bed of the late well-born (Gen.) Michał Grotowski, deputy cup-bearer of Livonia, with the well-born (Gen.) Rozalia, likewise née Grotowska, [now] the wife of the well-born (Gen.) Piotr Antoni Ogrodziński, cavalry captain of the armies of His Royal Majesty and of the Commonwealth – and to their successors, he is bound and obliged for the sum of twelve thousand Polish złoty, counted in Hungarian red złoty at eighteen Polish złoty each, raised on this day from the hands of the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt, that is of money lent; which sum he inscribes and places upon all and each of his estates, and he undertakes and binds himself to pay that sum of twelve thousand Polish złoty together with the interest at ten per hundred – notwithstanding disasters and hostile times – (and for that interest for the present year, paid by the magnificent (Magn.) Rozalia Ogrodzińska, as the lady of the right of life estate, into the hands of her husband, a quittance is given) – at the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist in the coming year 1744, God willing, and to lodge it with the Czernihów castle court records or to place it upon clear and free estates, and this under a penalty of twelve thousand Polish złoty and under the court of the Czernihów castle court office.

The magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Beydo Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, lieutenant colonel of the armies of His Royal Majesty and of the Commonwealth, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he – by virtue of the consent graciously granted to him by His Most Serene Royal Majesty, our Gracious Lord now reigning, the tenor whereof is as follows:

„Augustus the Third, by the grace of God king of Poland, grand duke of Lithuania, Ruthenia, Prussia, Mazovia, Samogitia, Kiev, Volhynia, Podolia, Podlasie, Livonia, Smolensk, Siewierz and Czernihów, and also hereditary duke of Saxony and prince elector – we make known by this our letter to all and to each severally whom it concerns, that we have allowed and permitted, and by this our letter we allow and permit the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, deputy cup-bearer of Łuków, that he may and shall have power to yield up the whole and entire right of life estate which serves and falls to him in the advocateship (wójtostwo) in the village of Domanice, situated in the Lublin voivodeship and in the Łuków land, and to transfer and convey the same in full upon the persons of the well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia Chrościechowski, lawful spouses. Which cession and transfer of the right, if it shall thereafter be made and lawfully carried out before any of our trustworthy records, we shall hold valid and pleasing. Which advocateship in the village of Domanice, with all the buildings, arable, meadows, fields, fishponds, rivers, streams, lakes, woods, groves, taverns, mills, subjects and their labour services, rents, tributes, profits and revenues, with the appurtenances and appendages whatsoever, excepting none at all – just as the said magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski had and possessed them – so too shall those same well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia Chrościechowski, spouses, hold, have and possess them until the last term of their lives. And we promise for ourselves and for our most serene successors that neither we nor our most serene successors shall remove or put away the said well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia Chrościechowski, spouses, from the peaceful possession of that same advocateship and of all that belongs to it, nor shall we give to anyone the power to remove or to put them away, but we shall preserve to them the whole and unimpaired right of life estate; which our most serene successors shall likewise do, saving our royal rights and the rights of the holy Catholic Church. In faith whereof we have commanded this letter, subscribed with our hand, to be furnished with the Crown seal. Given at Warsaw on the twenty-seventh day of the month of January in the Year of Our Lord 1739, and of our reign in the sixth year. Augustus the King. – now, forthwith and in fact yields up to the said well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia Chrościechowski, lawful spouses, the whole and entire right of life estate of his own which serves and falls to him in the said advocateship in Domanice, with all the appurtenances and appendages – just as it has long stood within its bounds, baulks and circuit – and likewise with the use, the profits and the revenues falling in whatsoever manner; and his whole and entire right to the said advocateship he conveys, transfers and incorporates in full upon the persons of the said well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia Chrościechowski, his cessionaries; and intromission into the said advocateship he freely gives to those same cessionaries of the right, by the force of the prescribed office, together with [the right] of leasing it out for any number of years and of taking [the profits], and in fact admits them to it. That same magnificent (Magn.) lord on the one side, and the well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia Chrościechowski, spouses – and the wife with the assistance of that same husband of hers – present on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that they give a quittance for any hand-written contracts whatsoever written down and drawn up between themselves concerning the advocateship in Domanice, and likewise for the bonds given and for all the claims on that account arising up to this day – by reason of the amicable settlement concluded between them and of the satisfaction rendered to one another – and any contracts whatsoever and the bonds they cancel; and this mutually and reciprocally to one another and to their successors.

The well-born (Gen.) Andrzej and Zofia née Sienicka Chrościechowski, spouses – and the wife with the assistance of that same husband of hers – being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Beydo Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, lieutenant colonel of the armies of His Royal Majesty and of the Commonwealth, and to his lawful successors they are bound and obliged for the sum of one thousand one hundred and fifty-two Polish złoty by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; which sum they inscribe and secure upon all and each of their estates and upon any sums whatsoever, those of interest as well, and likewise upon their movables and livestock; and they undertake and bind themselves to pay that sum to their magnificent (Magn.) creditor on the vigil of the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist falling in the coming year 1744, God willing, together with the interest at ten per hundred – for which interest for the present year, being paid, the deponents themselves give a quittance – and to lodge it with the Łuków castle court records, and this under a penalty of one thousand one hundred and fifty-two Polish złoty and under the present court.

The magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław, son of the late magnificent (Magn.) Jan Stanisław, of two given names, Beydo Rzewuski, hunter of Podlasie, pantler of the Łuków land, on the one side, and Andrzej, son of the late Stanisław Rzewuski, treasurer of Bracław, on the other side, the Rzewuski, being of sound mind and of good understanding, deposed that mutually and reciprocally they give land for land, ground for ground, inheritance for inheritance, making between themselves the following exchange (commutatio):

and namely the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, to the magnificent (Magn.) Andrzej Rzewuski – his hereditary estate, that is a hide of arable, beginning at the village road and running towards the Grochówka boundaries, between the baulks of that same magnificent (Magn.) Andrzej Rzewuski, the present party exchanging, on the one side, and, on the other, the part now remaining in the possession of the noble (Nob.) Józef Szorc, Remigiusz Krzeski and others, that is half a hide;

and in return, in exchange, the magnificent (Magn.) Andrzej Rzewuski, the treasurer, according to the agreement described above, to the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, pantler of the Łuków land, and to his successors – his hereditary estate, that is a hide of arable, beginning at the village road and running towards the Wesołka and Grochówka boundaries, on the borderland, between the baulks of the magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Rzewuski, the party exchanging, on the one side, and, on the other, [a passage struck out], with three strips joined to that same hide over four stadia of length, by the paved road running from the estate of Krzesk to the village of Wesołka –

situated and lying in the hereditary estate of the village of Krzesk Królowa Niwa, with everything, they give, donate, that is exchange. They consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, and this under the land-law damages and the present forum.

The devout (Devot.) Piotr Rzewuski called Wolski, mansionary of the xenodochium of the Most Holy Trinity at Vilnius, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Wawrzyniec Rzewuski called Wolski – sons of the late well-born (Gen.) Mikołaj Rzewuski, chamberlain of Mielnik [that is, to both the brothers] – his brother german, and to his lawful successors, his hereditary paternal estate and that subject to him by whatsoever title of right, concerning him, the deponent, as against that same brother, all and each: in the homesteads, the manor buildings, the gardens, the orchards, the arable, the fields, the meadows, the woods, forests, thickets, rivers, streams and all falls of waters; further with the subjects, the half-subjects, the peasants, the cottagers and the lodgers – both those now settled and those fled, together with the free right of recovering them – with their wives, children, cattle, swine and all household equipment, with the days of labour service, the dues, the burdens and all subject obedience; with the arable, the fields and the meadows held and possessed by them; and with the other appurtenances and appendages of those same estates, reserving and excepting nothing to himself, both those free and those remaining in mortgage […].
