„Persons (different given names)” means: different combinations of a given name with a byname, not persons proved to have existed. Two namesakes from one family merge here into a single item, and the acts give nothing to tell them apart. An entry naming several families stands beside each of them — because the record names them together, and they must not be separated.

This item certainly merges several persons: under this given name the acts name 2 different parents of the same degree, and one person has one father and one mother. The card file gives nothing to tell them apart — for that one must go to the entries below.

Family trees

Fragments of families assembled from the kinships the acts state outright. One fragment is as much as a single entry, or a group of entries, allows to be joined without guessing — not a whole family tree, only a certain piece of one.

The Trojanowski family

The Miechowicki, Trojanowski and Grodzicki families — office-holders

confidence B — 2 acts

A social contrast with the petty nobility: sums of 4000 and 2000 złp, the deputy pantler of Stężyca, a colonel of His Royal Majesty. Two acts of the same session settle the dowries of a family connected by marriage over three generations.

Caveat. Entry 1648 gives the wife of Aleksander Miechowicki as Felicjanna née Trojanowska, entry 1651 — as Anna. This has not been resolved; both appear on the tree. An ancestor with two wives and no filiation of his own (Aleksander Miechowicki) may be two men of the same name — the order of the marriages and the assignment of the children need checking against the parish registers.

The Trojanowski family — descendants of Piotr Trojanowski

confidence B — 5 acts

A line assembled from 5 acts, linked by persons whose filiation is recorded. Predominant acts: Quittance for dowry sums and debts on the estates of Trojanów and Jarczów, totalling 14 000 złp, with cancellation of the inscriptions; Quittance for 3000 złp out of a dowry sum, with reference to an inscription of 1700 and to decrees of the Tribunal; Mutual discharge of all claims whatsoever.

Caveat. The node “Piotr Trojanowski” also takes in entries 1457, 1458, 1460, in which the source does not call him anyone’s father — a namesake of his may have appeared there. This does not undermine the filiation, but the source does not confirm that these acts belong to him.

persons in the entry Wojciech Napora Jarosław, son of the late Jan – the party giving the quittance; Kazimierz Czerski, his son-in-law – the party quitted; Marianna Czerska, the daughter of the party giving the quittance, wife of Kazimierz Czerski; the late Anna Miechowicka, daughter of the late Aleksander Miechowicki and of the late Felicjanna Trojanowska, the wife of the father [the reading of the relation uncertain] – party to the original inscription

localities in the entry Germanicha [the reading of the name uncertain], Trojanówka [uncertain reading]

The well-born (Gen.) Wojciech Napora Jarosław, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Jan, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the well-born (Gen.) Marianna, wife of the well-born (Gen.) Kazimierz Czerski and his own daughter, for the life-estate inscription made before the Łuków castle court records by the late well-born (Gen.) Anna née Miechowicka – daughter begotten of the late well-born (Gen.) Aleksander Miechowicki with the late well-born (Gen.) Felicjanna Trojanowska, the lawful wife of his own parent – deposed and inscribed mutually and reciprocally with the deponent himself, and set upon a sum of four thousand Polish złoty charged on the hereditary estates of Germanicha [and] Trojanówka [the reading of the names uncertain]; and this by reason of the amicable settlement concluded between them and of the satisfaction rendered to him as regards that same right of life estate by that same Kazimierz Czerski, his son-in-law; and that life-estate inscription he cancels.

[Autograph signature:] Woyciech Napora Jarosław

notes and marginalia The persons agree with the PTG tags for scan 123 (Marianna Czerska Napora Jarosław, Kazimierz Czerski, Jan Napora Jarosław, Anna Miechowicka, Aleksander Miechowicki, Felicjanna Trojanowska Miechowicka). The names of the estates („Germanicha”, „Trojanówka”) do not appear in the tags, and in the manuscript they are difficult – they have been marked as uncertain. The phrase „sui Parentis Consortem legitimam” relates Anna née Miechowicka to the deponent's parent (most probably the mother or the stepmother of Wojciech) – the relation is read out of the formula, not from an open statement.
