„Persons (different given names)” means: different combinations of a given name with a byname, not persons proved to have existed. Two namesakes from one family merge here into a single item, and the acts give nothing to tell them apart. An entry naming several families stands beside each of them — because the record names them together, and they must not be separated.

persons in the entry Marianna Cichowska, daughter of Jan Cichowski, 1° voto wife of the late Stanisław Tchórzewski, 2° voto wife of Łukasz Klembowski (she deposed with the assistance of her husband) – donor; Kazimierz Domański and his son Mikołaj – donees; Jakub Laszkowski, Antoni Niewęgłowski called Dzięcioł and Piotr Niewęgłowski – neighbours (the baulks)

localities in the entry Kaszki Wielkie [the reading of the name uncertain]; the river Małki; the Cichowskie boundaries

The noble (Nob.) Marianna Cichowska, daughter of the noble (Nob.) Jan Cichowski, by her first marriage left by the late noble (Nob.) Stanisław Tchórzewski, and by her second and present marriage the wife of the noble (Nob.) Łukasz Klembowski, with the assistance of that same husband of hers, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Kazimierz Domański and to the noble (Nob.) Mikołaj, his son, and to their successors her hereditary maternal estate – that is four strips of arable, beginning at the Laszkowski Sapiment and running towards the Sukcińskie boundaries [uncertain reading], between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Jakub Laszkowski on both sides; further, six strips of arable together with a meadow, beginning at the river called Małki and running towards the Cichowskie boundaries, between the baulks of the noble (Nob.) Antoni Niewęgłowski called Dzięcioł on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Piotr Niewęgłowski on the other – lying and situated in the hereditary village of Kaszki Wielkie [the reading of the name uncertain] – she gives, donates and inscribes with every right. She consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, and this under the land-law damages and under the jurisdiction of the present office, saving the mortgage sum remaining with the noble (Nob.) Mikołaj Domański, which he shall deduct for himself.

notes and marginalia The PTG tag „Marianna Cichowska pv Tchórzewska sv Klembowska” fully confirms the content. The surname of the neighbour is taken from the tag („Antoni Niewęgłowski Dzięcioł”) – in the manuscript I read it at first as „Dziewulski”. The name of the village is illegible and does not appear among the tags. The woman deposing was unlettered (in the source: „Ignara litterarum”) – the entry bears no signature.

persons in the entry Łukasz Klembowski, son of the late Kazimierz – the party making the inscription; Marianna Cichowska, his lawful wife – in whose favour the inscription is made; Kazimierz Domański – from whom the sum was raised

The noble (Nob.) Łukasz Klembowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Kazimierz, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Marianna Cichowska, his lawful wife, and to her successors he is bound and obliged for the sum of fifty Polish złoty – which he raised on this day from the hands of the noble (Nob.) Kazimierz Domański – by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; that sum he inscribes and secures upon all his estates, undertaking to pay it on the first demand of his wife and to lodge it with the present records. And this under a like penalty of fifty Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.

notes and marginalia The entry is connected with the preceding one: the husband secures to his wife the sum obtained from the donation of her maternal estate. The deponent was unlettered (in the source: „Ignarus litterarum”) – the entry bears no signature.
