Mroczkowski

The noble (Nob.) Tomasz Mroczkowski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Maciej Borkowski Jaszczyk and to his successors for a certain protestation, made over the insult done to him by the wife of the party quitted and by the party quitted himself, as also for the relation entered in consequence of it and for the entries pending in the registers – and this by reason of the amicable settlement concluded; the protestation, the relation and the entries he cancels.

The noble (Nob.) Franciszek Borkowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Jakub, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Maciej Borkowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Maciej likewise, and to his successors his hereditary paternal estate, that is three strips of arable, beginning at the public road to Wiśniew [uncertain reading] and running towards the Chromna boundaries, between [the baulks] of the noble (Nob.) Antoni Borkowski on the one side and of the well-born (Gen.) Tomasz Mroczkowski on the other, lying and situated in the village of Borki Świerże [uncertain reading], standing waste, with every right, for the sum of eight Polish złoty, from now until redemption, he mortgages; he consents to intromission from now on for the future and submits to the court, and this under a like penalty of eight Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.

The deponent was unlettered (in the source: „Ignarus litterarum”) – the entry bears no signature.

The noble (Nob.) Wojciech Krasuski, in his own name and in the name of the noble (Nob.) Małgorzata née Zabłocka – by her first marriage left by the late noble (Nob.) Jan Kowieski, and by her second and present marriage his own wife – and likewise of the nobles (Nob.) Grzegorz, Kazimierz, Marianna and Katarzyna, unmarried maidens, Kowieski, his stepchildren, for whose ratification he stands surety, being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the noble (Nob.) Stanisław Borkowski, son of the noble (Nob.) Jan Borkowski called Giza, and to his successors for the sum of eighty Polish złoty – inscribed in the first place and primarily by the noble (Nob.) Jan Borkowski to the noble (Nob.) Tomasz Mroczkowski by way of mortgage upon certain estates lying in the hereditary village of Borki Sołdy, before the present records on the Monday after the feast of St Laurence the Martyr in the Year of Our Lord 1726; yielded up by that same noble (Nob.) Tomasz Mroczkowski to the noble (Nob.) Krzysztof Borkowski before those same records on the Monday within the octave of the feast of Corpus Christi in the Year of Our Lord 1735; and lastly ceded by the noble (Nob.) Krzysztof Borkowski to the late noble (Nob.) Jan Kowieski, the first husband of the deponent's wife and the father of the stepchildren, before those same records on the Wednesday after Jubilate Sunday, and now in fact raised by the deponent. He consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, both as to the matter and as to his own person and that of the stepchildren, and this under a like penalty of eighty Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.
