The magnificent (Magn.): Józef Łaźniewski, treasurer of Bracław, in his own name and in the name of the magnificent (Magn.) Barbara, his daughter, for whose ratification he stands surety, on the one side, and the magnificent (Magn.) Emanuel Chrzanowski, deputy cup-bearer of Brześć, on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that a certain contract, or rather a marriage contract, concerning certain matters and conditions expressed in that contract, concluded between them under the date at Milanów of 3 January of the current year one thousand seven hundred and forty-three, written and drawn up, signed with their own hands and furnished with their armorial seals, and signed by the magnificent (Magn.) friends, secured by the penalty contained in that contract – they confirm in all its parts (they strengthen and confirm it). And this under the like penalty designated in that contract, appointing the ubiquitous forum (ubiquinarium) for answering.

The magnificent (Magn.) Emanuel Chrzanowski, deputy cup-bearer of Brześć, son of the late magnificent (Magn.) Zygmunt Benedykt (of two given names) Chrzanowski, chamberlain of Brześć, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Barbara Łaźniewska, daughter of the magnificent (Magn.) Józef Łaźniewski, treasurer of Bracław, his future wife, and to her successors, he is bound and obliged for the sum of twenty thousand Polish złoty on account of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; that sum he inscribes and secures upon all his paternal, maternal and inherited estates, those now held and those to be acquired in the future, and upon all his sums wherever placed. He undertakes to pay that sum on her first demand and to lodge it with the Brześć records of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. And this under a like penalty of twenty thousand Polish złoty, appointing for answering the Brześć forum of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania – castle or land – or the Vilnius Tribunal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

The magnificent (Magn.) Mikołaj Staniszewski, deputy cup-bearer of Latyczów, son of the late magnificent (Magn.) Jakub Staniszewski, deputy cup-bearer of Latyczów, and Ewa née Rudzińska, husband and wife, and grandson of the late magnificent (Magn.) Walenty Staniszewski and Jadwiga née Skórzewska, husband and wife – heir of the whole fourth part of the estates of the small town of Kasperowce and of the villages of Lisiczniki and Horyhlady, lying in the Podolian voivodeship and in the Kamieniec land, as against the other co-successors – on the one side;

and the well-born (Gen.) Łukasz Przyłucki, subdelegate of the Kamieniec castle court in Podolia, special attorney of the magnificent (Magn.) Antoni Chrzanowski, for whose ratification he stands surety, and in his name – on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that a certain contract, concerning the resignation of the said estates, that is of their fourth part, drawn up and written between the two parties in the estate of the village of Olszyce on 17 January of the current year 1744, signed in their own hands and secured by the land-law damages – they confirm in all its conditions;

and this under the land-law damages, for which they appoint, for answering, the ordinary court: the land court of the Podolian voivodeship or the Kamieniec castle court in Podolia, and in time of interregnum – the Podolian confederate court (sąd kapturowy) or the marshal's court of the Podolian voivodeship.

The same magnificent (Magn.) [Mikołaj Staniszewski], being of sound mind and body, deposed that he gives a quittance to the magnificent (Magn.) Antoni Chrzanowski, starosta of Czerwonogród, colonel of His Royal Majesty and of the Commonwealth, and to his successors – for the sum of twenty-two thousand Polish złoty, due by way of the completion of the sum remaining for the fourth part of the estates of the small town of Kasperowce together with the whole villages of Lisiczniki and Horyhlady, according to the tenor of the contract of resignation written between him and the attorney of that same magnificent (Magn.) Chrzanowski in the estate of Olszyce on 17 January of the year now current 1744, and now in fact and effectually paid out from the hands of the well-born (Gen.) Łukasz Przyłucki, attorney of the said magnificent (Magn.) Chrzanowski, starosta of Czerwonogród – by reason of the sufficient satisfaction rendered to him and of the actual payment of that same sum he gives a quittance.

The same [Mikołaj Staniszewski], to the magnificent (Magn.) [Chrzanowski] spouses, to their son and to his successors, his own and hereditary estate, that is the whole fourth part of the estates of the small town of Kasperowce and of the villages of Lisiczniki and Horyhlady, falling to him as against the other co-successors, the Lutomirski –

in the plots, manor houses, buildings, structures, granaries, manor farms, ropes [uncertain reading], gardens, orchards, [river] beds, waters, fields, meadows, woods, forests, groves, coppices, brushwood, thickets, clearings, lakes, marshes, rivers, streams, and likewise ponds, fishponds and lesser fishponds, mills together with their millers and their measures, taverns together with their tavern-keepers, as also with the subjects: peasant farmers, cottagers and lodgers – both those who have fled and those now settled, with a free right of seeking them out – together with their wives, children, cattle and swine, with their whole property and household gear, with the days of labour, with the watch both by day and by night, with the dues and all the revenues and all the obedience which the subjects are bound to render, and likewise with the arable, the fields and the meadows held and possessed by them –

situated and lying in the villages and the small town named above, retaining and excepting nothing for himself or for his successors, but as widely, as long and as far about as those estates have of old stood and stand within their baulks and boundaries, and also **with the right of patronage of the parishes both of the Roman and of the Greek rite**, that is with the right of presenting to them – he gives and donates with everything. He consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty; and this under the land-law damages, for which he appoints the court of the Crown Tribunal of Lublin or the land court of the Podolian voivodeship or else the Kamieniec castle court in Podolia, and in time of interregnum – the confederate court or the marshal's court of the Podolian voivodeship.

The magnificent (Magn.) Mikołaj Staniszewski, deputy cup-bearer of Latyczów, son of the late magnificent (Magn.) Wojciech Żaberowski, pantler of Inowłódz, with the magnificent (Magn.) Agnieszka [the surname – uncertain reading], spouses of one another – the husband in his own person, and the wife with the assistance of that same husband of hers as her marital guardian and of the well-born (Gen.) Franciszek Gołaski, a friend taken to this act – being of sound mind and body, deposed

that out of their whole and entire right described below, that is out of the original inscriptions, and likewise out of the contracts and whatsoever rights and transactions serving them upon the estates of the small town of Kasperowce and of the villages of Lisiczniki and Horyhlady, as also out of the sums falling to them from the revenues of those same estates from the possessors hitherto – and in particular the magnificent (Magn.) Staniszewska, wife of the deputy cup-bearer of Latyczów, out of her wifely rights, of dowry and of life estate, inscribed by her magnificent (Magn.) husband upon those very estates – retaining and excepting nothing for themselves or for their successors, already forthwith and in fact, having accepted full and sufficient satisfaction for everything, they yield up and withdraw in favour of the magnificent (Magn.) Antoni Chrzanowski, starosta of Czerwonogród, and of his successors; their whole and entire right and claim they transfer to the person of the said cessionary, and him they make secure against any impeachment on that account, by virtue of the present deposition.
