„Separate entries for persons” means: separate entries of a given name with a surname and a byname, not persons proved to have existed. The same man recorded in four registers is one entry, but two namesakes from the same village are sometimes impossible to tell apart, and over twenty years a parcel could pass to a son of the same name. The hearths given at a collective entry are an equal division among those named — a calculation, not a reading.

The year 1789 stands twice in the table, and rightly so: these are two different sources. The register gives the hearths, the list of parcel-holders does not — which is why the list carries a dash and not a zero, and the hearths of 1789 are not counted twice.
No entry from 1775 and 1794. This is the absence of the surname in the cards transcribed so far, not proof that the family was not there then: in the card file the 1794 register covers fewer villages than the others, and the 1775 one sometimes counts a whole starosty in a single entry, without surnames.

The breakdown closes: 1 manor house + 1 brewery + 1 inn + 8 cottages = 11. Beside „dwór”, „brow.” and „karcz.” the card sets no figures — the ones follow from the total. „8 chał.” I enter under the key „chaty”, in accordance with the convention of the rest of the card index. The figure 11 is underlined; the card gives no separate total for the year, because there is only one entry. A woman: the surname in the feminine form in the genitive („Heleny Stoińskiej”), in the nominative Helena Stoińska. In the the office field I record the title as it stands on the card („podczaszyny Łukowskiej” → podczaszyna łukowska) — it is the title of the wife of a podczaszy, a deputy cupbearer, not an office held by her. I read the adjective „Łukowskiej”: the rest of the word („-ukowskiej”) is legible, while the capital letter is written here with a horizontal stroke above the stem, unlike the „Ł” of the heading — [reading uncertain] as to the shape of the capital letter, though not as to the reading of the word. This does not agree with the T90 of the same card, where Stoiński is „podczaszym lubelskim”; I do not smooth the discrepancies away. The same card in O83 calls Stoińska a widow — here the card does not repeat that, and so I do not add the status. The figure 11 concerns Zastawie itself; Wólka Zastawska has in T89 an arithmetic of its own on cards 1)–252 (2 + 8 = 10 hearths).

The list of possessors of 1789, without hearths (with T₀89 there are none as a rule). The abbreviation „wś.” = wieś, a village; the full stop and the accent over the „s” are clear. A woman: the surname in the feminine form in the genitive, in the nominative Helena Stoińska; „wdowy” refers to her, hence the status „wdowa”, and this makes her husband the deceased, whom the card does not name — for that reason I do not enter him as a separate person. This agrees with O83 („wieś Stoińskiej, wdowy”) and with T90, where the estate is in Helena's possession for life after the successors of Stoiński. In the same year the T₀89 of Wólka Zastawska (card 1) records the propination beside Antonina Kłopocka, not beside Stoińska.

The opening of the entry describes the whole estate (Zastawie + Wólka Zastawska + the inn at Lipniak), but the number of hearths refers plainly to the grange of Zastawie itself („folwark Zastawie – dymów wiejskich 2giej klasy – 12”), and so these 12 hearths do NOT take in Wólka: Wólka has in T90 an arithmetic of its own on card 1) (8 + 2 = 10 hearths). The figure 12 is underlined; the card gives no total for the year. The card gives no forename for Stoiński — the surname alone; „sukces.” makes him dead. Helena Stoińska holds the estate in possession for life — a woman, the surname in the feminine form („Heleny Stoińskiej”). DISCREPANCY: here Stoiński is „podczaszym lubelskim”, while O83 and T89 of the same card speak of a „podczaszynie łukowskiej” (O83, card 3) of Wólka Zastawska — of a „podczaszym łukowskim”); I record each year as it stands. The abbreviation „T.zn.” I expand as „to znaczy”, that is, only in the explanation; in the text I leave the form from the card.
