The magnificent (Magn.) Stanisław Hański, pantler of Chełm, son of the late magnificent (Magn.) Aleksander Hański, pantler of Chełm, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Antoni Domaszowski, cup-bearer of Owrucz, and to the magnificent (Magn.) Kazimierz, the son, and to their successors, he is bound and obliged for the sum of one thousand two hundred Polish złoty in Hungarian red złoty, each reckoned at eighteen Polish złoty, on account of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt. That sum he inscribes and secures upon all and each of his hereditary and mortgaged estates, now held and to be acquired in the future, and upon all his sums of money placed wheresoever; and he undertakes to pay that sum from now, on the morrow of the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist falling in the current year, together with the interest due – for which, as paid up to the present term, he gives a quittance – whatever the calamities of the time, and to lodge it with the present records. And this under a like penalty of one thousand two hundred Polish złoty, appointing for answering the forum of the present office or that of Chełm [uncertain reading].
