The well-born (Gen.) Stanisław Borkowski, comrade of the armoured banner of the magnificent (Magn.) Franciszek […], hunter of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the magnificent (Magn.) Aniela Zaborowska, his future wife, and to her successors he is bound and obliged for the sum of two thousand Polish złoty by title of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; which sum he inscribes and secures upon all and each of his estates and upon his sums, wherever placed; and he submits and undertakes to pay that same sum on the first demand of his future wife and to lodge it with the present records, and this under a like penalty [of two thousand Polish złoty], for which he appoints the present court.

Fran…” is legible, and further „…eo li Venato[ris] M.D.L.”); since entry 1148 (scan 57-016) names „wielmożnego Skarżyńskiego, łowczego Wielkiego Księstwa Litewskiego” as the captain of that same armoured banner, it is most probably the same person – the surname, however, has not been entered, because in this place it is illegible. The amount of the penalty („simili Vadio…”) is written with a correction and a deletion; it has been taken to equal the principal sum, as the formula „simili vadio” requires. The siglum „M.” by Aniela Zaborowska has been read as in the manuscript (a ligature NN. is possible).
