Szańkowski

The well-born (Gen.) Justyna Biernacka, daughter begotten of the late well-born (Gen.) Kazimierz Biernacki with the late well-born (Gen.) Zofia née Oknińska, wife of the well-born (Gen.) Ignacy Szańkowski, with the assistance of that same husband of hers and of the noble (Nob.) [the given name – uncertain reading] Dziewulski, her adoptive brother, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Wawrzyniec Jezierski, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Stanisław Jezierski, and to his successors her hereditary estates, due to her by whatsoever manner and title of right – all and entire, in the waste homesteads, the arable, the fields, meadows, woods, forests, groves, thickets, coverts, lakes, pastures, rivers, streams and the other things adjoining and belonging to those estates, both free and lying in mortgage (which the present donee is to redeem at his own cost) – lying and situated in the hereditary village of Okniny, she gives, donates and inscribes with every right. She consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, and this under the land-law damages and under the jurisdiction of the present office.

The well-born (Gen.) Ignacy Szańkowski, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Jakub Szańkowski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Justyna Biernacka, his wife, he is bound and obliged for the sum of forty Polish złoty – that is for the price of the estates resigned on this day – by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; that sum he inscribes and secures upon all his estates, undertaking to lodge that same sum with the present records on the first demand of that wife of his. And this under a like penalty of forty Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.
