Sinicki

The magnificent (Magn.) Antoni Szczygielski, tribune of Podlasie, and Aleksandra née Znamierowska, husband and wife, on the one side, and the well-born (Gen.) Jakub Sinicki, instigator of the Lublin castle court, on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed – each of them, and in particular the magnificent (Magn.) wife with the assistance of her husband – that a certain contract, or rather a marriage contract, lawfully concluded between them, drawn up and written down in the estates of the village of Siedliska on the 6th day of February of the present year 1743, signed with their own hands and those of certain friends, and secured by a penalty of two thousand five hundred Polish złoty – they confirm and approve in all its points. And this under a like penalty of two thousand five hundred Polish złoty and the forum of the present office.

The well-born (Gen.) Jakub Sinicki, instigator of the Lublin castle court office, son of the late well-born (Gen.) Michał Sinicki, begotten of the late well-born (Gen.) [his mother – the surname illegible], being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Franciszka Szczygielska, daughter of the magnificent (Magn.) Antoni Szczygielski and Aleksandra née Znamierowska, husband and wife, tribunes of Podlasie, his future wife, and to her successors, he is bound and obliged for the sum of two thousand Polish złoty – in accordance with the marriage contract confirmed this day – by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; that sum he inscribes and secures upon all and each of his estates and upon whatever sums, wheresoever placed, and he undertakes to pay that sum on the first demand of his future wife.

Michał and Konstancja née Gis Sinicki, husband and wife, instigator of the Lublin castle court office, on the one side, and the well-born (Gen.) Franciszka Szczygielska, daughter of the well-born (Gen.) Antoni and Aleksandra née Znamierowska Szczygielski, tribunes of Podlasie, present on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that mutually and reciprocally – upon all and each of their hereditary paternal and maternal and mortgaged estates, upon whatever sums of money, in gold, silver, jewels, garments and clothing, horses, the stud, cattle, in the whole household property and the farm equipment, now possessed and such as by God's grace they shall possess – they inscribe and grant to one another life estates until the last term of their lives.
