The nobles (Nob.) Wojciech on the one side and Sebastian on the other side, the Domański, sons of the late noble (Nob.) Michał Domański called Kozieł, brothers german to one another, being of sound mind and body, deposed that they give to one another and to their successors land for land, ground for ground, inheritance for inheritance, making between them the following exchange:

and namely the noble (Nob.) Wojciech Domański to the noble (Nob.) Sebastian Domański, his brother german, a paternal and maternal plot of six strips, running from the village road towards [the tract – the name read with uncertainty] for two stadia, between the baulks of Łukasz Tchórzewski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Stanisław Tchórzewski, on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Mikołaj Świderski on the other, together with the building, that is a winter [cottage] and an orchard [uncertain reading];

and reciprocally, in exchange, the noble (Nob.) Sebastian to the noble (Nob.) Wojciech Domański, his elder brother, a plot of six strips, running from the village road towards the Glinianna hill for two stadia, between the baulks of that same noble (Nob.) Wojciech Domański, the party exchanging, on the one side and of the noble (Nob.) Marianna Paskowska called Lado [uncertain reading] on the other, together with the buildings: a granary and a [farm building – uncertain reading], a new and an old one –

lying in the hereditary village of Paski Wielkie, with everything, they mutually give, donate and exchange to one another. They consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, and this under the land-law damages, for which they appoint the present forum.

notes and marginalia The entry begins on f. 4v (scan 57-006) and ends on f. 5r. A rare case of an exchange of plots together with the buildings between brothers – with an enumeration of the buildings (a granary, a winter building, an orchard). The names of the buildings have been read with reservation. The persons and the village of Paski Wielkie agree with the PTG tags for scan 57-006; Marianna Paskowska is not in the tags. On a second reading (the review of the sigla) the description of the baulk was corrected: the manuscript has „inter metas Lucae ol. N. Stanislai Tchorzewski et N. Nicolai Świderski”, and so Stanisław Tchórzewski is the late father of Łukasz, not a second neighbour; by Łukasz himself the clerk set no siglum of estate.
