The well-born (Gen.) Łukasz Radomyski on the one side, and the infidel (Infid.) Abram Jakubowicz, tavern lessee of the estate of Mościbrody, on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed and acknowledged that mutually and reciprocally they give a quittance to one another and to their successors – for the suits and actions brought and lodged with the present office on account of acts of violence committed in a mutual affray, of injury to honour and of a beating; for the decree of inquisition, for the relation and for the entries in the registers pending, as also for all and each of the claims which they had against one another – and this by reason of the amicable settlement concluded between them; and the protestations, the relations and the decrees they cancel — having however reserved to the infidel (Infid.) Jakubowicz the unimpaired right of pursuing the matter further against other persons entering into those same terms.

Beneath the Latin signature of the nobleman the tavern lessee signed in Hebrew; legible is the name אברהם (Abraham), the further words effaced [uncertain reading], but the arrangement answers to the Latin form „Abram Jakubowicz”. The entry is at the same time the fourth in this part of the register in which a Jew appears as a party of equal standing against a nobleman (cf. 1207, 1214, 1217), and the only one in which both parties sign with their own hands. The reservation concerning the further pursuit of the matter against the remaining offenders is preserved for the Jewish party. The persons and the estate agree with the PTG tags for scan 57-039.
