Rościszewski

The magnificent (Magn.) Ludwika née Pruchnicka Rościszewska, widow left by the late magnificent (Magn.) Tomasz Rościszewski, cup-bearer of Dobrzyń, on the one side, and the noble (Nob.) Jan Zdziarski on the other side, being of sound mind and body, deposed that a certain mortgage contract, concerning the things and the conditions expressed in it, under the date here at Łuków on the 19th day of July of the current year 1743, written down and drawn up between themselves the deponents, signed in their own hands, secured by a penalty of one hundred Polish złoty – they confirm in everything (they strengthen and confirm it). And this under a like penalty of one hundred Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.

The magnificent (Magn.) Ludwika Rościszewska, daughter of the late noble (Nob.) Piotr Pruchnicki, and widow left by the late magnificent (Magn.) Tomasz Rościszewski, cup-bearer of Dobrzyń, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the noble (Nob.) Jan Zdziarski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Aleksander Zdziarski, and to his successors her hereditary acquired estates – all and each of them: in the plots, gardens, arable, fields, meadows, woods, forests, groves, thickets and the other things adjoining and belonging to those estates, lying and situated in the hereditary village of Okniny [the reading of the name uncertain], with every right – for the sum of one hundred Polish złoty, from now for three years, the term falling at the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist in the year 1746, she mortgages; and after the three years have run out, likewise from year to year until redemption. She consented to intromission forthwith and promised warranty, and this under a like penalty of one hundred Polish złoty and under the jurisdiction of the present office.
