The magnificent (Magn.) Zachariasz Pracki, sword-bearer of the Liw land, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the well-born (Gen.) Wojciech Sutostych [the surname – uncertain reading] and to his lawful successors he is bound and remains indebted for the sum of one thousand Polish złoty – in Hungarian red złoty, reckoning each at eighteen Polish złoty – by way of a certain, true, just, liquid and simple debt; which sum he inscribes and secures upon his estates; and he undertakes that he will pay that same sum on the morrow of the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist in the current year 1744 [25 June 1744], together with the interest at ten per hundred, for which, as far as the current year is concerned, that same magnificent (Magn.) deponent is given a quittance, and will lodge it with the present records – or, in case of the non-payment of the original sum, will continue to pay the interest; and this under a like penalty of one thousand Polish złoty, for which he appoints the present forum.
