„Persons (different given names)” means: different combinations of a given name with a byname, not persons proved to have existed. Two namesakes from one family merge here into a single item, and the acts give nothing to tell them apart. An entry naming several families stands beside each of them — because the record names them together, and they must not be separated.

persons in the entry Stanisław Niewęgłowski, son of the late Andrzej – the party ceding; Barbara and Marianna Niewęgłowska, maidens, daughters of Józef Niewęgłowski and of Eufrozyna – the acquirers; Mikołaj Krassowski – the debtor under the contract

localities in the entry Krassów [the reading of the second element uncertain], Lublin (the place where the contract was drawn up)

The noble (Nob.) Stanisław Niewęgłowski, son of the late noble (Nob.) Andrzej Niewęgłowski, being of sound mind and body, deposed that to the nobles (Nob.) Barbara and Marianna Niewęgłowska, unmarried maidens, the daughters begotten of the noble (Nob.) Józef Niewęgłowski with the noble (Nob.) Eufrozyna Niewęgłowska, and to their successors he yields up with everything and transfers the sum of three hundred and five Polish złoty – secured to him by the noble (Nob.) Mikołaj Krassowski, and inscribed upon certain estates in the village of Krassów [the reading of the second element of the name uncertain], by a certain contract written down between him on the one side and the noble (Nob.) Mikołaj Krassowski on the other, given and dated at Lublin on the second day of April in the Year of Our Lord 1734 and lodged by way of oblation before the Lublin records on the Wednesday after Jubilate Sunday of that same year – and this by reason of the satisfaction shown. He consented to intromission forthwith, and this under a like penalty of three hundred and five Polish złoty and under the present court.

[Autograph signature:] Stanisław Niewęgłowski – „ducta manu” (with the hand guided)

notes and marginalia The year of the contract in the manuscript looks like „1744”, which is impossible (a future date); 1734 has been adopted, and the reckoning confirms it: 2 April 1734 was a Friday, and the Wednesday after Jubilate Sunday in 1734 is 19 May 1734. The persons agree with the PTG tags for scan 140. The note „ducta manu” beside the signature means that the clerk guided the deponent's hand – a state midway between complete illiteracy and the ability to write; in this register it is noted only exceptionally.
