The Łuków castle court records 1743–1744
persons 2 · entries 3 · years 1743–1744
Dear reader, remember that this is an AI study, that it may contain errors; treat it as indicative and verify it for yourself.
„Persons (different given names)” means: different combinations of a given name with a byname, not persons proved to have existed. Two namesakes from one family merge here into a single item, and the acts give nothing to tell them apart. An entry naming several families stands beside each of them — because the record names them together, and they must not be separated.
The persons of this surname in the acts, with the number of entries and with the kinships the record states outright.

entries 1531
Fragments of families assembled from the kinships the acts state outright. One fragment is as much as a single entry, or a group of entries, allows to be joined without guessing — not a whole family tree, only a certain piece of one.
confidence B — 2 acts
A line assembled from 2 acts, linked by persons whose filiation is recorded. Predominant acts: A husband’s inscription of 3000 złp in favour of his wife, on account of her dowry; Mutual life estate.

persons in the entry Jakub Rzeczycki, acting under a power of attorney from his son Mikołaj Rzeczycki – the party giving the quittance; Michał Filipowicz – the party quitted; the late Joanna née Rzeczycka Filipowiczowa – after whom the movables
The well-born (Gen.) Jakub Rzeczycki, being of sound mind and body, deposed that – by virtue of a special power of attorney, given to him for the acts described below and entered in the Royal Curia at Warsaw on the Thursday before the feast of St Mary Magdalene of the present year 1743 by the well-born (Gen.) Mikołaj Rzeczycki, his son – he gives a quittance to the well-born (Gen.) Michał Filipowicz and to his successors for all the movable goods left after the well-born (Gen.) Joanna née Rzeczycka Filipowiczowa, the wife of the party quitted, ordered by a decree of the Łuków castle court office to be handed over to the deponent's son, at the terms, that is in the courts of the office's suits, on the very day of the feast of St Hedwig [the elect] of the past year 1742, and in fact carted away by that son and returned and handed over to him – and that decree he cancels.
[Autograph signature:] Jakub Rzeczycki
notes and marginalia There are no PTG tags for scan 129 – the reading rests on the manuscript alone. The date of the power of attorney verified: the Thursday before St Mary Magdalene 1743 is 18 July 1743, and the day of the week agrees. The entry is rare in so far as the power of attorney was issued in the Royal Curia at Warsaw.
